Green Porcelain Handmade Necklace, Lines and Dashes on Green Cord

Inspiration:
This beautiful green handmade necklace has been made in my studio in West Yorkshire, UK. The 'Texture' collection of jewellery is abstract in design but I draw inspiration from colours, textures and patterns within the natural landscape. It is an exploration of simple mark making combined with a rich green glossy glaze. Each necklace is fired to a high temperature to create a strong yet light and wearable piece of unique ceramic art jewellery. The pendant is strung on a double length of green linen cord and finished with a handmade porcelain bead.

Materials:
A modern handmade ceramic pendant made from black porcelain clay. It is painted with layers of white decorating slip and textured using a method called 'sgraffito'. Each piece of jewellery is hand finished; the lines and marks being different on each pendant. The beautifully smooth porcelain clay is about 3mm thick and is finished to a very high quality. The necklace is strung on a double length of green linen cord and finished with a handmade porcelain bead.

Size:
The ceramic element is 70x40mm and the necklace is supplied on green linen cord - 74cm. The length of this necklace is fixed and cannot be adjusted so please check the length.

Are you buying for a gift? This pendant will be sent to you in a branded cardboard gift box and I will include a postcard. Please do let me know if you would like a personalised message writing on the card. The gift box is included in the price.
