Porcelain Hanging Birds

These are high fired ceramic porcelain bird decorations made in my studio in West Yorkshire. Hang them on your tree at Christmas or anywhere in your home all year round. They are perfect as a gift and they look fabulous alone or in a flock (as seen in the photograph).

The porcelain is rolled out to approximately 3mm before being cut out and refined. They are dried slowly under weighted boards to keep them nice and flat before being fired. Once fired they are polished to give a smooth finish.
The wings slot onto the body and are held in place by the hanging cord. This also allows for the bird to be packed away flat when not in use.

Each ceramic hanging bird decoration is supplied in a gift box for ease of storage and postage.
